Summer Lunch Program

We provide nutritious, free meals to kids throughout the summer.

 

Our Summer Lunch Program, which has been serving the County since 1994, provides youth with free, healthy meals at local parks all summer long. For some, the lunch we provide is the only balanced meal they will eat throughout the day.

 

The Summer Lunch Program is a true community effort. The Cortland City School District prepares all food according to Health Department nutritional standards. RSVP volunteers serve meals. Officers from the Cortland City Police Department visit the sites and engage with the youth.
